πŸ‡°πŸ‡Ό Kuwait Private Sector β€’ Articles 51–53 β€’ Estimate only

Important: This calculator provides an estimated amount for general information only. It is not an official settlement or legal advice. Kuwait laws, rules and individual circumstances may affect your actual entitlement.

KD

Enter the monthly wage you believe should be used for your indemnity calculation. The legally applicable wage can depend on your remuneration and circumstances.

Some termination circumstances require additional legal analysis. Choose β€œOther / I am not sure” when your situation is unclear.

How the estimate is calculated

For monthly-paid employees, Article 51 provides 15 days' wage for each year of the first five years and one month's wage for each following year. A fraction of a year is calculated proportionately.

Years 1–5
15 days' wage for each year.
After year 5
One month's wage for each additional year.
Maximum
Article 51 limits the total for monthly-paid employees to 1Β½ years' wage.

Calculation assumption: MalluKuwait currently uses a 26-working-day method to derive the estimated daily rate. Article 51 itself states the entitlement as 15 days' wage and one month's wage; this calculator remains an estimate and should be checked against your actual case.

Example β€” KD 500 monthly wage

Base Article 51 estimates before any applicable resignation adjustment.
