Apple has officially introduced AirPods 5, bringing Active Noise Cancellation to its newest open-ear AirPods along with improved sound, Siri AI, Live Translation and better durability.

Unlike AirPods Pro, AirPods 5 retain Apple's familiar open-ear design without silicone ear tips. Apple has nevertheless managed to significantly improve noise cancellation while keeping the lightweight fit many AirPods users prefer.

There are two AirPods 5 versions this year, and understanding the difference between them is particularly important before buying.

The new generation focuses on improving Active Noise Cancellation, sound quality, intelligent features and durability while maintaining the open-ear design.
